The gardening staff were on hand to assist the Diamond Jubilee Flotilla onto the lake at Holkham. Rafts were made by children and their families in a Jubilee workshop led by Sandra Rowney over the three Jubilee days and were decked out in red white and blue. They bobbed prettily along, like a row of ducklings, behind James in the rowboat.
