Ribes sanguineum 'White Icicle'

March in the Holkham Walled Garden and the prettiest of flowering currants is blooming. Ribes sanguineum 'White Icicle' flowers before the more  often seen red variety and the flowers appear heavier.
Whilst researching the plant on the internet I came across a reference on a North American site about all the hummingbirds that were being attracted to the flowers. Not too many of those on the North Norfolk coast of Britain on a cold and gloomy day in March, but it's a nice thought.
