July: despite the rain, the garden is as looking lovely in the section (or 'room') nearest to the wrought iron Venetian gates. The herbacious plants in their first season, are beginning to knit together and give swathes of colour.
Further into the garden, a family are visiting, exploring the pathways through the lush growth.
The vegetable and cut flower garden is being kept tidy with the help of a volunteer gardening group that meet on alternate Thursdays. The Head and Deputy gardener would be pleased to hear from you if there is anyone reading this who lives nearby and can spare a few hours to help out.
