This brave climbing rose that is defying the icy blasts of wind sweeping over the Holkham Walled Garden from the North Sea and flowering way above the top of the wall has been identified as " Monsieur Paul Lede", an apricot climbing tea rose introduced back nearly 100 years ago in 1913. A click on the picture will enlarge it and you'll see that it froze overnight and is now melting.
